Foxx Life Sciences Filling and Venting closures are aseptic handling solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and laboratory liquid transfer applications. All closures can be used on bottles and carboys with 53mm, 83mm, or 120mm closures. The pre-mounted lengths of platinum-cured silicone tubing allow for easy customization of carboys and bottles. Eliminate pouring of high valued products through this leak-proof aseptic system. Flexible system is designed with closures that fit bottles or carboys with 53mm, 83mm, and 120mm closures. Tubing manufactured from high purity silicone. Accept additional fluid transfer components such as aseptic connectors and air vent filters. All components are autoclavable. VersaCap is made from polypropylene, which may be autoclaved at 15 PSI and 121C (250F) for 20 minutes.

Open VersaCap is compatible with a variety of adapter inserts, enabling users to quickly change the top connections of each carboy or bottle to match their application needs. VersaCap offers large finger grips that allow for easy tightening and opening. They are also stackable, and offered in 53mm, 83mm (compatible with most carboys), and 120mm wide-mouth versions that fit exclusively on Foxx Life Sciences 20L, 40L, and 75L EZfil carboys. Quick-connect hose barb options include combinations of two, three, and four ports, with 1/4 and 3/8 hose barb sizes. Molded-in hose barb options are available in 1/8, 1/4, 516, and 1/2 sizes. VersaBarb is available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" hose barb sizes. In addition, a 3/4" sanitary fitting VersaBarb is also available to enable the EZgrip carboy to function as a supply reservoir for a larger system. Offers a convenient solution for bottom-connections and can fit a variety of tubing diameters. Made from Class VI autoclavable polypropylene. Foxx Life Sciences’ VersaCaps and adapters allow users to easily customize carboys and Heavy Duty Vacuum Bottles for a variety of applications. VersaCap adapters are available with a variety of hose barb sizes and configurations, including molded in hose barbs and quick-connect hose barbs. VersaCaps are leakproof, and feature replaceable platinum-cured silicone gaskets, as well as large finger and hand grips for easy loosening and tightening. The Bioprocess adapter is compatible with custom closures that provide closed systems designed for fluid transfer. This is compatible with Saint-Gobain’s EZ TOP® Container Closures with C-FLEX® tubing. EZ TOP® and C-FLEX® are registered trademarks of Saint-Gobain. All VersaCaps and adapters are molded from autoclavable polypropylene, and are available in industry-standard 53B, 83B, and wide-mouth 120 mm sizes. The recommended autoclaving cycle is 20 minutes at 15 PSI and 121°C.

Foxx Life Science Carboy Vent Filters are used for hydrophobic venting and solvent filtration applications. The PTFE filter membrane is ideal for maintaining purified water stored in carboys, or for sterile venting during a slow exhaust/liquid autoclave cycle of EZgrip® carboys. All materials comply with USP Class VI standards, and are autoclavable up to 10 times. Hydrophobic PTFE membrane is reinforced with polypropylene housing and features a stepped hosebarb. Available in Non-sterile 1.00µm, 0.2µm pore sizes with platinum-cured silicone tubing, or in bulk packs (without tubing).

The Malin Company Lockwire is a 0.032 inch diameter stainless steel lockwire used to prevent loosening of threaded fasteners. It comes in a 225 foot roll and features a tensile strength of 300,000 psi. The lockwire creates a lock effect when installed in a crisscross pattern to secure bolts, screws, nuts and other threaded assemblies. It conforms to MIL-W-83420 and MS20995 standards. The lockwire is made in the USA.
